Levitra: General Information

Levitra is the medication used for treatment of the erectile dysfunction in men. It is one of the three other pills for overcoming ED, alongside with Viagra and Cialis.

Levitra is a PDE5 inhibitor, and its functioning is based on elevating the level of guanosine monophosphate, a special chemical substance capable to influence blood flow to the penis. When the blood flow to the genitalia is increased, it helps men with erectile dysfunction to obtain and maintain erection during the sexual act. The peculiarity of Levitra lies in the fact that it inhibits the action of PDE5 enzyme only and does not impact any other enzymes in the organism. Due to the inhibiting of PDE5, normal and firm erection occurs, which does not differ in any way from the one, obtained by men with no evidence of ED. When sexual session finishes, blood flow to the penis is decreased in the naturally and erection goes away.

Numerous clinical tests have shown that Levitra is very helpful for erectile dysfunction in men who have additional health problems, such as diabetes, high level of cholesterol or high blood pressure

Men who used Levitra maintained that this medication was of great use in maintaining the erection and keeping it up during the time, necessary to commit a sexual intercourse and receive a full pleasure from having sex.
